When prompted, click on Save button, then select file
location (you may select Desktop for convenience). When downloading
completes, just double click the .EXE file to install. Existing
users must un-install version 1.1.214c or earlier. Note that the un-installer for the previous version
will not remove your settings and the most important data, the schedule data
will be preserved. If you want to be extra careful before un-installing the
previous version, you can make a backup copy
of the schedule data located here:
"C:\Program Files\MsDVR\Schedule.txt"
If the previous
version is not installed from the default directory location, C:\Program
Files\MsDVR\, as it is allowed from the pervious installer, you will have to
copy the Schedule.txt to the default directory location with this new installer.
Changing the default directory location is not allowed with this new installer
for technical reasons.
Windows 98 Users:
The new installer
requires Microsoft Windows Installer 1.1 or later. If you're using
Windows 98 and you are not able to install, download Windows Installer here:
